R.S.J.A. has successfully given training to 80 officers of 2005 batch, 85 officers of 2008 batch, 09 officers of 2010 batch and 86 officers who are presently taking field training will join Academy for concluding reflective training of 15 days from 27th January, 2012 to 11th February, 2012.
As a refresher course for in-service officers, workshops/seminars are being organized at 18 district headquarters quarterly on cluster basis. In addition to special seminar for Judges of MACT in Rajasthan, a NJA West Zone Regional Judicial Workshop of on "Techniques and Tools for Enhancing Timely Justice", 20 workshops/seminars on various topics have been so far organized.
On 16 & 17th September 2006 a special seminar for those officers who are presiding over Motor Accident Cases Tribunals was organized at Jodhpur wherein 112 officers participated.
A workshop/seminar on "Arrears & Delay Reduction" was organized for DJ, ADJ (having Independent Charge) Family Judges, Labour Judges, Spl. Judges (DJ Level) on 06.05.07 (at Jaipur) 12.05.07 (at Bikaner), 27.05.07 (at Jodhpur) 21.07.07 (at Kota) 11.08.07 (at Udaipur ) wherein 153 officers participated.
From 23rd May to 25th May, 2008, a NJA West Zone Regional Judicial Workshop of on Techniques and Tools for Enhancing Timely Justice regional seminar of Maharasthra, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh state was organized at Jaipur.
Continuing Judicial Education for Judicial Officers are also being organized from time to time at Jodhpur and other divisional headquarters as per calendar approved at appropriate level. the following programmes have already been successfully conducted on following topics :-
1. Procedural and Substantive Law relating to Rent Matters
2. Gram Nyayalaya: Powers, Procedure, Practice and related issues
3. Appreciation of evidence in Criminal Cases
4. Sensitizing over the issue of ‘Tomorrow’s Adult’ for Principal magistrates of J.J. Board (CJM) in Rajasthan at Jodhpur
5. Principles, Provisions and Practice in Motor Accident Claims (at Udaipur and Kota)
One year long training to Shri Rakesh Ramawat, new Civil Judge (Jr. Division) was imparted during 16.01.2010 to 15.01.2011. Nine other new Civil Judges joined on 18.12.2010. Thereafter, 83 new Civil Judges joined on 12.02.2011. Lastly, 3 new Civil Judges joined on 01.06.2011. Training to these 9+83+3 Officers is being imparted at present.
Three days long NJA West Zone Regional Conference on “Enhancing Quality of Adjudication” was organized at Jaipur during 25th to 27th March, 2011.
As regards development of infrastructure, new building is being constructed by RSRDC. Its foundation stone was laid on 12.03.2011 by Hon’ble Mr. Justice R.V. Ravindran and Hon’ble Mr. Justice G.S. Singhvi, Judges, Hon’ble Supreme Court; Shri Ashok Gehlot, Chief Minister, Rajasthan in presence of Hon’ble Chief Justice and other Hon’ble Judges of Rajasthan High Court. The construction of building is going on under the close supervision of appropriate authority in full swing.
